Managed by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, the Asian Le Mans Series is a sister series to the European Le Mans Series.  As with ELMS, the winners of each category qualify for the prestigious Le Mans 24 Hours, giving all Asian teams a chance to race in the world-famous event.

Covid played havoc with the series in 2020, forcing the series to relocate from its usual Asian circuits to an action-packed fortnight in the Middle East.  The same format has been adopted for 2025, ensuring that the teams and drivers are able to compete in the full 4-race series without travel and quarantine restrictions.
